California Dance Education Association is proud to collaborate with Sonoma State University's Department of Dance for the Northern California 2025 CA DANCES festival. This year we will showcase and celebrate the Black and African influence on Jazz and Jazz inspired dance styles. CA Dances will take place at the Pearson Theater at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, CA on May 3, 2025.

CA DANCES 2025 is seeking submissions of established or new works that celebrate Black and African diasporic traditions and dance forms.  Submissions should be on average five minutes in length and are due no later than March 25, 2025. Dances will be selected to ensure the festival has a broad range of concert, social, experimental, and culturally-specific dances.
