We invite you to join the California Dance Education Association (CDEA) for a transformative exploration of dance education at our upcoming conference, Radical Roots held at CSU Long Beach Dance Center March 1 and 2, 2025. The CDEA statewide conference, Radical Roots: Leveraging Voices and Storytelling in Dance will explore the intersections of voice and storytelling in dance focusing on fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within dance education.  

Radical Roots will encourage collaboration, community, and advocacy among dance educators across all sectors. Conference attendees will engage in enriching discussions, movement workshops, and presentations aimed at harnessing the unique narratives and diverse perspectives that shape our dance communities. This conference promises to ignite new ideas, deepen connections, and empower change in the field of dance education.

Conference hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. One-day registration is available for Saturday only.
